Our name
A sower went out to sow.
撒種行動協會 means the sowing movement. We took the name from the parable, because it describes the work honestly: we scatter seed widely, we do not control the soil, and we are not the ones who make anything grow.
Our goal is to see the gospel take root throughout Taiwan, one child at a time.
How the door opens
Sport brings the child. English brings the parent.

The child
Sport is what they come for
Basketball, football, running, games. No child signs up for a Bible lesson, but every child wants to play — and on the field they relax, they trust the adults around them, and they listen.
The parent
English is what they say yes to
Taiwanese parents want their children to speak English with native speakers. That is a real gift, and we give it genuinely — our teams are native English speakers and the whole camp runs in English.
The point
The gospel is what we came to give
The English lessons are Bible lessons. The day includes storytelling and worship. Children hear who Jesus is, in a language they are learning and a setting they enjoy.
Why children
The decision comes later. The story has to come first.
In Taiwan, people rarely come to faith as children. When it happens, it usually happens at university age or beyond — a considered decision, made as an adult.
What we have seen is that the adults who make that decision have almost always heard the story before — years earlier, as children. Having heard it once, it is no longer foreign to them. It is something they can return to.
So we go to children. Not to press for a decision, but to make sure the story is there when they need it.
We sow. We may never see the harvest. That is not our part of the work.
